Sharing laughter, rest, and togetherness with families who have a seriously ill child. Side-by-Side hosts camps and getaways for families who have a child with cancer, and provides year-round relational support for families who have relocated to Seattle for long-term pediatric medical treatment.

The challenge was that the brand was outdated and the messaging was long and wordy. They needed a re-brand with a clear story to gain greater recognition and support.

The project began by taking the leadership team through my brand discovery workshop. The outcome was a new brand profile that clarified who they are. We uncovered what they do best, who needs them and created target personas for each segment of their audience.
The new logo and vibrant brand icon reflects the laughter and fun that the brand brings to everyone. The tagline, “we’re with you,” and a marketing messaging platform was created for consistent storytelling across print, special events, web and social media.
The annual Bingo Fundraiser uses the brand to communicate a consistent message to attract the right audience to fill the room, to get new sponsors, and to reach fundraising goals.
